Venkata Srinivas Rao Dasam is a Lead Process Design Engineer at Quest Global. Venkata has over 18 years of extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. His expertise spans process design for LNG facilities, process and wellhead platforms, refineries, and petrochemical plants, with a proven track record in executing major FEED and detailed engineering projects. Venkata Srinivas is proficient in developing and reviewing basic and detailed engineering designs, simulation models, and heat and mass balance calculations. He has in-depth knowledge of LNG liquefaction technologies, including APCI C3/MR processes, enhanced MCHE control schemes, and propane compressor operations. His expertise also extends to process safety studies such as HAZOP and SIL, as well as the optimization of PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs. A skilled problem solver, Venkata supports revamp studies, capacity enhancements, and troubleshooting for complex plants. He excels in inter-discipline coordination and has a strong grasp of international codes and standards such as API 12J, 14C, 14E, and 520. His experience includes equipment sizing, relief calculations, SAFE chart preparation, and the development of process datasheets, equipment lists, and line lists.
